Durability
With its 0.08 mm membrane, the Durabilis model lasts 2 to 5 months . However, some users manage to keep it for up to 7 or 8 months .
Several factors can influence the lifespan of a hair prosthesis, including the time of year. In summer, due to sun exposure, sweating, and more frequent swimming, the prosthesis tends to have a shorter lifespan.
The user can extend the life of their prosthesis by using appropriate moisturizing and repigmenting care.
Maintenance
Hair prosthesis maintenance should be performed, on average, every 20 to 30 days .
In summer, this interval is reduced, and it is recommended to do so approximately every 15 to 25 days .
Some users, especially experienced ones, perform maintenance themselves. However, this task can be complex.
