Durability
The Front Lace model offers a durability of 2 to 3 months . However, some users manage to keep it for up to 6 or 7 months .
Several factors can influence the lifespan of a hair prosthesis, including the time of year. In summer, due to sun exposure, sweating, and more frequent swimming, the prosthesis tends to have a shorter lifespan.
The user can extend the life of their prosthesis by using appropriate moisturizing and repigmenting care.
Maintenance
Hair prosthesis maintenance (in lace) should be performed, on average, every 10 to 20 days .
In summer, it's necessary to do this more frequently, approximately every 10 to 15 days . This maintenance is intended for people who already wear hair prostheses, as caring for tulle accessories is more delicate. Some users, especially more experienced ones, perform this maintenance themselves. However, this task can be complex.
